It is just past midnight, and I lie here looking into your eyes and I see a beauty like heaven’s skies. Your soft laughter and sweet smile are like that of angelic kisses upon my heart and soul. I wish that I didn’t have to go, that I could stay here with you in my arms. I could call it heaven if it wasn’t for the screeching cars outside our window. I know I will see you again, when the sun’s rays cut through the morning darkness. It just seem so far away. I am contempt though, to lie here and watch you slowly drift off to sleep. Maybe then I will be satisfied all this is real, and not a dream.
