Rainy Sunday Mornings

Cyrus could feel her warm body pressing comfortably into his. The sheets hugged their waists with a touch like a silk feather. Her golden sun kissed hair tickled his nose and neck as Kierson nestled herself against his chest. He pulled her closer to him, feeling her bare skin glide against his.

Kierson wrapped her arms around him and planted a couple light kisses on his chest. He ran his fingers along her exposed back and side. She looked like a goddess lying there beside him.

“Can you hear that?” Kierson asked. Cyrus tilted his head listening.

“All I hear is your sweet voice love.” He felt her cheek form a smile. She planted another kiss on his chest.

“Can’t you hear the rain?”

He listened more carefully and sure enough, under the soft sound of her breathing he could make out the consistent pitter patter of raindrops. She sighed with pleasure. Cyrus’ hand found the bare flesh of her thigh and began to massage the sore muscles under its seductive surface. She squirmed and tried to nestle herself further into his embrace

“Must we go have brunch with Cortlen and Ally babe? I love them, but we haven’t had a lazy day in a while.”

Cyrus kiss her head and stroked her hair.

“How about we call them and push it back to a late lunch? Then we can just lay around till we have to leave. We don’t even need to bother with showering or clothes or anything. Just go in shoes and our birthday suits.”

Kierson laughed. It was music to his ears. “That sounds perfect. Except you do kinda smell.” She lifted her head to smell him and crinkled her nose. “Yea, a shower would do you good.”

“Really?” Cyrus inquired further. Kierson turned her gaze up at him and nodded. The smile across her beautiful face was equal parts seductive and innocent.

“Yea. Besides you’re all pretty sweaty too.”

“No, I am not.”

Kierson grabbed his shoulders and pulled herself up onto his chest and kissed him. When the kiss broke, she whispered into his ear. “You will be.” She kissed him again. Cyrus brought his hand to her cheek and pulled her deeper into a passionate kiss. His focus was solely on her, from the taste of her lips to the bite of her nails in his shoulders.

Cyrus pressed himself up from the bed and further into her arms. Then in one swift motion he was looking down at her. Golden hair spread out in a halo around her head contrasting perfectly with the deep blue of the pillow cases. She smiled that beautiful smile of hers that tugged at his heart and caressed his soul. She leaned upwards to kiss him again but Cyrus pulled away, backing up off the bed.

“Guess I should go take a shower then.” He turned and retreated to the bathroom.

“You aren’t going to escape without a fight. Kierson leaped from the bed to the floor and bounded for his back. She caught him before he could get to the bathroom and jumped up onto his back. Before she wrapped her legs around him, his hand had clasped down on her thigh and was pulling her off. Her feet never touched the ground. Cyrus lifted her into his arms and Kierson’s legs instantly found his hips. Before she knew it, her heart was racing and she was being pressed up against the cold wall. A shiver ran down her spine as Cyrus pressed his warm chest against hers. The sensation caused her to arch her back and that is when his lips found her neck. Kierson closed her eyes and ran her fingers through his hair.

These were the mornings Cyrus had always dreamed about. The kind of mornings when the rain washed away the outside world and left just him and the keeper of his heart. Oh, how he loved rainy Sunday mornings.
