According to a very good friend of mine, this is second best only to Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. I would have to agree with him on this account. Brandon Sanderson creates a stunning system and follows it up with one twist after another. It was very difficult to put this book down because of all the interwoven layers. This novel is definitely worth a read and it should be on every bookshelf.
The character’s in Mistborn have a unique feel about them, their characteristics amplified as the story line progressed. I became attached to many of them, wishing I could read a whole in-depth story about what had brought some of the character’s to their current position in society. Delightful and utterly breath-taking novel for practically anyone.
