Catching Fire

I am hard pressed to say that Catching Fire, book two of the Hunger Games series, is even better than the first book, but it is. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, just when I felt like I had a moment to feel relaxed, everything is ripped away. My world is turned upside down and shaken like a child playing with a snow globe. The pace is quick and before the mind can grasp the full nature of events, more is lathered on. Layer after layer of plot and deceit, death and sadness, anger and revenge. It makes for such an intriguing read, it is very difficult to put the book down.
